Description Disc 1 · 2011
23-25 cm. The male's upperparts are coppery green; throat black; breast blue green; belly yellow; the central tail rectrices are coppery green, the outer rectrices are barred black and white; bill greenish; eye ring blue.
The female has a coffee-brown head, breast and upperparts, a dull yellow belly and outer tail feathers barred black and white.
