Description Disc 1 · 2011
~ 14 cm. A medium-sized hermit with olive green upperparts; uppertail coverts reddish-brown; underside pinkish-buff; the second pair of rectrices from the center of the tail coppery green with prominent white tips.

Common in dry open forest, scrubby thickets, second growth, forest edge and gallery forest, gardens and parks. Not in dense forest. Mostly at higher altitudes 400-2100 meters.
