A similar even faster Scytalopus-like trill was also recorded in Bolivia ^38 and is described from western Ecuador ^44 . A accelerating and decelerating series of "tiuk" or "tchick" calls, frequently going on for minutes. vocalization 6 . It should be pointed out that the recorded calls of /Sittasomus griseicapillus from Amazonia ^36, ^37, ^38 are different from the calls given by sylviellus from Southeast Brazil.
