The account
Description
13.5 cm. A possible straggler. Very similar to Tachycineta leucorrhoa, but lacking the white supraloral stripe and white front; more blue and less green above. Difficult or possibly not identifiable in the field.

Similar to Tachycineta leucorrhoa,
Breeding
Breeds in central and southern Chile and southern Argentina.
Habitat and status
Apparently common in breeding quarters, over open and semi-open areas, more a bird of wooded areas than Tachycineta leucorrhoa (133).
Distribution
A possible winter migrant to Southern Estado São Paulo. Below 1000 meters
