13.5 cm. A small swallow with dark glossy greenish blue back, white supraloral streak. Undersides and rump white. Very similar to /Tachycineta bicolor of North America. Gurgling high whistles. Forages, often low, over semiopen areas, sometimes assembling in large flocks. Breeds in crevices, holes etc. in single pairs: October-December.
