Description Disc 1 · 2011
11-12 cm. The male has a long straight black bill; crown patch glittering bluish green; back coppery green with a hidden white patch on the lower back; chin black; throat glittering rose colored, bordered laterally with white; breast gray, center of belly white, sides bronze; tail rectrices bronze with a broad subterminal black band with exception of the two central rectrices.
The female lacks the crown patch.
