Description Disc 1 · 2011
30.5-38 cm. The adult is olive brown above, the crown and hindneck tinged gray; the feathers of the mantle, inner secondaries, and rump with broad dark centers; primaries and tail fuscous; forehead, sides of head and entire underside ashy gray or bluish slate; iris and feet red; bill slightly decurved, yellowish green, the base bright red.
The immature's underparts pale are brownish, darkest on the flanks; chin and throat whitish.
