Description Disc 1 (2011)

46 - 60cm. The adult"s head, hindneck and entire undersides are cinnamon, the hindneck and undersides narowly barred fuscous: pileum streaked black: back and wings fuscous brown to blackish, the back tinged with bluish gray in old adults: shoulders and remiges cinnamon rufous barred fuscous: rump and tail black, the latter with a broad white median band and with a white tip: under wing coverts rufous: iris reddish yellow to brown: cere yellow: bill black: feet yellow.<nThe immature is deep sooty brown or blackish with a broad line above the eye and the feathers of hindneck and abdomen buff: the feathers of back and scapulars are often narrowly tipped with white or buff: shoulders with a russet tinge: barring of tail variable.

Throughout. Sea level - 1400 meters. In Estado S<C4>o Paulo reported from <8E>Itapetininiga, Presidente Venceslau, Tremembe ^119 .
