Description Disc 1 (2011)

56 - 61 cm. A white headed hawk with a very deeply forked tail: head, neck lower back and undersides white: wings and tail glossy black: upper back, scapulars, lesser wing coverts greenish or purplish black: iris reddish or dark brown: bill plumbeous: feet blue gray.<nIn the immature the head and upper breast is narrowly streaked with blackish brown.
