Green Honeycreeper

14 cm. Bill yellow with black culmen. Iris reddish. <NThe male is shiny bluish green with a black head. Wings and tail blackish. <NThe female is bright green, lighter below with a yellowish center of belly. Call "tsisp" and a "pseet". Mostly seen in flowering or fruiting trees. Forages at all heights in pairs or small groups. Uncommon in humid primary and secondary forest and forest edge, open forest, parkland and plantations. Throughout in the littoral.
