Below white. <NThe female lacks the black cap and is buffy below. Bill thick. Lower bill pinkish. Call a "chip", frequently repeated vocalization 1 , dawn song vocalization 2 a loud "tsi tsi CHEW-ti CHEW-ti CHEW..." ^159 , ^119 vocalization 2 . Forages in the canopy, frequently in mixed flocks. An open cup nest. No information for Southeast Brazil. Extralimital. Regularly observed in dry forest and forest edge of the interior.
