Underside yellow. <NJuvenile head and upper parts brown-olive, mottled yellowish on lores and ear coverts. Wing feathers tipped brownish forming two wingbars. Underneath buff-olive becoming yellowish on the belly. Calls, a low "chuk", a high "tsik". Song a series of 5-6 melodic whistles vocalizations 1-3 . Forages at mid level of trees and in underbrush, often in mixed flocks. Common in primary and secondary rain forest, open forest, coffee plantations, swamp forest and forest edge. Throughout.
