Call a high pitched "pick" and a "tere listen to vocalization . Also a plaintive high thin whistle "peeeeee" as a flight call ^159 .
Forages in the crowns of tall trees in search of fruit, not very active and easy to overlook. In pairs or groups, occasionally in mixed flocks.
Builds a domed nest with a side entrance.
Uncommon in primary and secondary forest on mountain slopes, forest edge.
