White-winged Becard

Song is a characteristic hard whistle "tuk-tuktuktuktuktu" and variations thereof. Another call is a sequence of double whistles "tuwui....tuwui...." or "oo-toowui" with an upward inflection on the end. Forages in the canopy of forest trees gleaning foliage. Not very conspicuous and relatively difficult to see. The common becard of the area in primary and mature secondary humid forest and border, open forest, especially where there are some tall trees left, gallery forest and plantations.
