Variegated Antpitta

7.1 Crown and neck grayish. Above olive-brown, scaled blackish with buff shafts of the feathers. Wings rufous-brown, the feathers tipped buff. A white malar streak. Throat dark brown with white shaft streaks and a white throat patch. Chest to belly buff brown with brown scaling. Tail rufous. Song "du- du- du- du WOO- WOO- WOO- WOO-WOO- wo", deep and quite loud.
