Red-tailed Parrot

Central tail feathers green, broadly tipped yellow and with a broad red subterminal band edged blue on the lateral feathers. Diverse calls, "kwi-kwii", cue-cue", "rrrrra rrrraa". Forages in canopy of trees mostly in flocks. Nests in a hole of a tree, 1-15 meters up. September-November. Locally common in swamp forest and remaining sand forest.
